biography
Antonio Imedio’s practice is shaped by encounters, memories, gestures, and objects that retain the traces of lived experience. His work transforms the everyday into images imbued with emotion, where beauty emerges not simply as a visual quality, but as a means of imagining new forms of connection and community.
Through painting, drawing, collage, and the incorporation of found objects, Imedio creates a poetic universe in which bodies, animals, plants, and objects coexist within a shared sensory space. High heels, collected feathers, archival photographs, and fragments of daily life are no longer ordinary elements but become symbols of desire, memory, and transformation.

His works evoke celebrations, friendships, dances, intimate bonds, and shared moments. Rather than depicting scenes, they construct atmospheres in which affection becomes a form of resistance and fragility reveals new ways of seeing the world. These images of the studio offer a glimpse into the place where his works take shape: a space of experimentation, acumulation, and care, where found materials, personal memories, and artistic processes coexist and continuously transform one another.
